We participated in the 2020 edition of the Iberoamerican Drone Conference (IDC), an international event addressed to the Spanish and Portuguese speaking community. This edition involved 70 speakers from 15 countries and offered 6 master lectures, academic activities, research project presentations, simultaneous and collaborative events.
Pedro Olivares Sáinz, Commercial Director of AV3 AEROVISUAL, guest and speaker during the segment dedicated to energy, communications and regulations, offered the lecture entitled “Inspection and thermography with Drones: Challenges and opportunities for 2021” together with our friend and ally; Alejandro Galvis, Senior BDM at Pix4D for the Latin American region.
As a result of the experience acquired in AV3 Aerovisual as a service provider for the industry, and as a reflection directed to all levels involved in the development of technology and software, Pedro Olivares considered that we must think about what is the next technological step in the field of inspection and thermography, focusing on the long term and in the generation of valuable information in particular, make solutions designed for inspection of photovoltaic, wind turbine and geothermal installations.
Regarded as a meeting point for leaders, executives, engineers and technicians of the public, industrial and commercial sectors of various areas of Latin America that benefit from the use of drones, the Conference was an excellent platform to share our experience in the energy industry and connect with people interested in the proper implementation of these technologies. We thank and congratulate the organization of the 2020 edition of the Iberoamerican Drone Conference for the invitation and for making the effort to bring together those who are part of this ecosystem today.
