Aerial photography and FPV drone demonstration at I LAB FILMFESTIVAL 2021
We participated in the first edition of the Film Festival + Laboratory, I LAB FILMS Querétaro, with a lecture on aerial photography by our General Director, Pedro Olivares Sáinz, in the facilities of Museo de la Ciudad de Querétaro. As part of the presentation and at the end of the talk; Rafael Castillo, Andrés Arzate and Bernardo López, pilots of Arcana, the FPV team of AV3 AEROVISUAL, gave a flight demonstration for the attendees with Micro, Beta FPV and Larva.
We love film and audiovisual production, for that reason, every time we are invited to participate in projects where the ability to tell stories through the moving image is rewarded, it is a pleasure and a unique opportunity to share with new audiences our experiences and vision of how the implementation of drones, in artistic creation, is an essential part of the visual culture worldwide. In addition, and as part of our interest in expanding the public’s view on the use of drones, Pedro Olivares Sáinz shared essential details about the services we offer at AV3 AEROVISUAL, the applications and types of unmanned aircraft that exist, as well as key elements on drone regulations that we should all know, whether we are interested in being pilots or not.
With the intention of bringing the public closer to one of the many possibilities that drones offer, Arcana FPV the FPV team of AV3 AEROVISUAL, conducted some demonstration flights with Micro, Beta FPV and Larva models in the vicinity of one of the main courtyards of Museo de la Ciudad. The activity, where attendees were able to clarify doubts and see with their own eyes the flight experience in first person, is the only one of its kind that has been done inside Ex Convento de Capuchinas, one of the historic and emblematic buildings of the city of Querétaro.
