We attended the 14th edition of the ICPA, which took place in Montreal, organized by the International Society of Precision Agriculture ISPA. Four days of intense activity where more than 200 scientific talks, 30 interventions by industry representatives and 20 plenary talks were offered. The event brought together scientists, crop consultants, advisers, agronomists, and food producers.
With Dr. Ian Yule, President of ISPA; at the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Macdonald Campus, McGill University. Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada presented some of their work in the agricultural fields of L’Acadie Farm.
During the Latin American Regional Meeting, we discussed the importance of generating communication mechanisms that allows the community to recognize and connect. Main presentation by Dr. Yoshua Bengio; pioneer in Deep Learning and researcher of the principles that give rise to intelligence through learning
One of the main achievements of our company was the registration of the AV3 AEROVISUAL team as members of the ISPA, the participation in the assembly of Latin American countries and, especially, the assignment to our Operating Director, Pedro Olivares Sainz, as representative of the Society International Precision Agriculture in Mexico.
During the event, we had the opportunity to talk closely with some of the key figures of this Society, with whom we discussed topics such as the latest trends in research in precision agriculture, the acquisition of technology by producers and farmers, artificial intelligence, as well as the role of our country in the global context.
Watch here the summary of our participation in the 14th edition of ICPA and learn about the contributions of some of the most experienced scientists and academics in the field of precision agriculture.
