We love music and festivals, especially those that have an innovative, inclusive artistic concept which is also committed to the environment. This is exactly what has defined the Carnaval de Bahidorá, an event that after seven years has been positioned thanks to the sense of community it has built among its attendees; through activities such as the sustainability program, the art circuit, conferences, workshops, yoga sessions, gastronomy, and the creative market.
In its 2018 edition, the team from Distrito Global, the company in charge of the production and organization of the event, invited us to make the festival´s after-movie, where we made aerial video with drones, aerial photography and photographic documentation. These were three days of intense work where we could live through the air, land and water; the essence of this celebration that has made Las Estacas, a natural place in the state of Morelos, its official venue.
Aside from the general recording of the event and its headlights, we were assigned, along with the teams of Panda Rojo Media y Mucho Amor Films, to perform the live streaming of Axel Boman (watch it here) y Robag Wruhme (watch it here) for Mixmag; an international magazine and digital platform specialized in the promotion of electronic music based in England and the United States.
We thank and congratulate Iñigo Villamil, Álvaro Hernández, Mario Romero; and the entire Global District team for everything they have achieved since the first edition of Bahidorá; for us it was a pleasure and an honor to be able to contribute to their work, and of course, to be able to record the performances of artists such as: Kamasi Washington, Axel Boman, Floorplan, Gilles Peterson, Ariel Pink, Mount Kimbie, Shigeto, HVOB, Satori and the Band from Space, Lee Burridge, Zombies in Miami, Telephones, Los Aguas Aguas, Sonido Martines, Riobamba, Rita Maia, and many more.
