{"id":56584,"date":"2019-09-12T11:12:09","date_gmt":"2019-09-12T11:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/av3aerovisual.com\/sistema-aeromagnetico-con-drones-para-exploracion\/"},"modified":"2020-10-14T22:00:15","modified_gmt":"2020-10-14T22:00:15","slug":"aeromagnetic-system-for-exploration-with-drones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/av3aerovisual.com\/en\/aeromagnetic-system-for-exploration-with-drones\/","title":{"rendered":"Aeromagnetic system for exploration with drones"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><b>Development of an aeromagnetic system with drones for geophysical exploration<\/b><\/h4>\n<h5><b>Case: Maar Rinc\u00f3n de Parangueo and caldera los Humeros<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><b>SUMMARY<\/b><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a part of the current thesis project an <\/span><b>aeromagnetic system for exploration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was developed using <\/span><b>Fluxgate <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">magnetometers, specially designed to be carried by a drone in continuous acquisition mode. This allows the creation of polygons or profiles to <\/span><b>obtain magnetic data in areas of all kinds<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. After signing&nbsp;an agreement, the Geophysics Laboratory of the<\/span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tellus.geociencias.unam.mx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CGEO<\/a><\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and the Electromagnetism Laboratory of the<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nas.gov.ua\/EN\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ukrainian Academy of Sciences<\/strong><\/a>, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">developed the LEMI-026 lightweight fluxgate low-cost model for the acquisition of aeromagnetic data at a fixed frequency of 250 samples\/second. It was possible to reduce the flight path of the magnetometer to a minimum by designing a three-degree-of-freedom fastener and an additional two-degree-of-freedom mechanical stabilizer. It was possible to systematize the flights, the acquisition procedure and the processing of the acquired data which can reach 150,000 data in flights of only 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d757.6611637689639!2d-101.2468664852587!3d20.41713481872981!2m3!1f352.31250000000006!2f67.47988307622077!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f35!3m3!1m2!1s0x842c8b7c1a754db9%3A0x98f14c0130f5971e!2sCrater%20El%20Rinc%C3%B3n%20de%20Parangueo!5e1!3m2!1sen!2smx!4v1588789148586!5m2!1sen!2smx\" width=\"100%\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" aria-hidden=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, test flights were carried out in <strong>areas of geological interest<\/strong> to demonstrate the correct functioning of the system. One of the data acquisition flights was conducted out at the <strong>Rinc\u00f3n de Parangueo<\/strong> Maar crater, a site that was selected for comparison purposes since we already had information from a previous terrestrial magnetic survey at that location. As a complement, another data acquisition flight was carried out at the caldera Los Humeros, Perote, Veracruz, the results are compared with aeromagnetic data from the MGS in the absence of terrestrial magnetic data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to point out how the preliminary phases of any project must be based on a <strong>digital model<\/strong> and image (<strong>orthophoto<\/strong>) in order to later integrate more data and studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Development of aeromagnetic exploration system with Fluxgate-type magnetometers, transported by a drone in continuous acquisition mode, for the generation of polygons or profiles to obtain magnetic data in all types of areas.
